Cement Production Process

Cement production is a fairly complex process. It is primarily processed in dry grinding systems. It includes crushing, grinding and size classification applications. The cement production operation generally involves the following stages.

1. Grinding limestone (and other raw materials to achieve the right chemical composition) to about 90% passing 90 microns in a dry circuit,

2. Making cement by the chemical reaction between the components of the ground mixture. This chemical reaction occurs at high temperature in a rotary kiln,

3. Grinding the cement clinker nodules to passing 90 microns in a dry circuit.
